We’re revving up for a lekker practice camp this Saturday at the Scout Hall, and we’d love your Scouts to join the fun!
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill camp — we’re shaking things up to make it extra special. Here’s the lowdown:
🔧 Hands-On Leadership
Our Scouts and adult leaders will be getting their hands dirty — proper Scoutcraft vibes! We’re talking next-level camping, teamwork, and skills that’ll make MacGyver proud.
📸 Lights, Camera, Action!
We’re launching our brand-spanking-new website and socials, so we’ll be snapping pics, shooting vids, and capturing all the behind-the-scenes magic. Your Scouts might just become the next TikTok sensation (Scout-style, of course)!
📱 Ja, Cellphones Allowed!
Yup, you read that right — phones are welcome! But only to help the boys document the camp from their point of view. They’ll be sending content to leaders via WhatsApp. 📷🔥
🙏 Pop In and Say Howzit
Parents, you’re more than welcome to swing by and see what the boys are up to — even if it’s just for a quick kuier. It’s happening in the Horseshoe area, so it’s lekker close!
🧭 Scout Path Progress
We’ll be ticking off some biggies from the Purple Books, helping the boys level up on their Scout journey, and earn those interest badges.
🏕️ Fun? Always!
It’s not all work — we’ll be squeezing in a braai and some games. So don’t forget to pack a braai pack for your Scout. Boerie, chops, whatever makes them smile!
🕗 Camp Times
Fall-in is sharp at 8 am Saturday, and we’re aiming to wrap up by 3 pm. We’ll keep you posted if things run a bit over.
It’s going to be a day full of learning, laughter, and lekker leadership. We can’t wait to see your Scouts in action!
We know it’s short notice, but the prep is easy-peasy. Just let us know if your Scout is keen to join. There’ll be a small cost (mostly for braai wood and cool drinks) — sponsors are always welcome!
